Features

GymBo supports three training methods:

  • Standard Training: Classic sequential training with individual exercises
  • Superset Training: Two exercises are performed alternately without rest (A1→A2)
  • Circuit Training: Multiple stations are completed in rounds one after another

The Workout Wizard is an intelligent assistant that recommends suitable exercises based on your preferences and creates a complete workout. You choose:

  • Target muscle groups
  • Available equipment
  • Desired training duration
  • Difficulty level

GymBo includes 145 pre-installed exercises for all muscle groups. You can also create and save your own exercises.

GymBo analyzes your training history and intelligently suggests when to increase weight or reps. The auto-progression uses three strategies in priority order:

1. Deload Detection (Safety first)

After 3 consecutive incomplete workouts or 2 failed workouts with declining performance, GymBo recommends -10% weight for recovery.

2. Linear Weight Progression (Standard)

When the last 2 workouts with the same weight were completed successfully and no failed attempts in the last 3 workouts:

Equipment Beginner Intermediate Advanced
Barbell +5 kg +2.5 kg +1.25 kg
Dumbbell +2 kg +2 kg +2 kg
Machine +5 kg +5 kg +5 kg

3. Rep Progression (for Muscle Building)

With muscle building as your goal: If the same weight has been used successfully for 3+ workouts and reps are under 15, GymBo recommends +2 reps.
